21st FebDance for Christies Cancer Hospital
The Future Perfect 3 Arts Festival is finally here, we’re raising awareness about Cancer in a wonderfully creative way whilst fundraising for the amazing Christies Cancer hospital! We’re hosting a Dance-a-thon fundraiser, simply turn up on the day and learn the steps then…..
WE ALL DANCE!
Why should I take part?
You can help to save lives, cancer affects everyone! The money raised by the Future Perfect Festival goes towards purchasing a CTC machine for the Christies clinical trial unit. A Cell Search machine measures circulating tumour cells (CTCs) which enter the bloodstream to spread cancer to other parts of the body. The machine can detect cancer spread at an early stage so that more targeted treatment options can be offered to patients. This technology will offer Christie researchers new insight into what causes cancer cells to spread so they can develop and test new improved drugs for targeting and destroying these tumour cells and so improve the prognosis for many cancer patients.
