Artworker, Shakespeare's Globe - LONDON
« on: February 02, 2015, 01:55:56 pm »
Shakespeare's Globe is a unique international resource dedicated to the exploration of Shakespeare's work and the playhouse for which he wrote, through the connected means of performance and education.  Together, the Globe Theatre, Globe Exhibition & Tour and Globe Education seek to further the experience and international understanding of Shakespeare in performance.  The Communications Department is responsible for raising awareness of Shakespeare’s Globe to increase audiences, visitor numbers and revenue.

We are currently seeking an Artworker to be part of the Communications team, working with the Designer and Marketing Managers to provide in-house graphic design service to promote and engage audiences with all aspects of Shakespeare’s Globe’s activity. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within an exciting cultural brand alongside the Globe’s appointed external design agencies to translate identity concepts into a range of collateral in both print and digital formats.

This role requires someone with a high level of competence and an instinct for excellent design, who can work quickly and accurately to deadlines, take a high degree of responsibility for their own time management, and with an ability to provide solutions but also a willingness to take instruction.

For more information and to apply, please download the job description / person specification from and return your completed application and equal opportunity monitoring forms, accompanied by a PDF portfolio of no more than three projects that demonstrate your suitability for this position (your portfolio may include a 250 word commentary) to by 5pm on Sunday 15 February 2015.  Interviews will take place week commencing 23 February.

We regret that because of the high volume of anticipated applications, we may be unable to contact unsuccessful candidates.  If you have a query, please email
