A vacancy has become available within the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for a Deputy Orchestra Manager. This is a full time, permanent contract working within the Orchestra Management Department.

The applicant will be required to assist the Orchestra Manager with the management of the day to day running of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, including rehearsals, concerts and recordings whilst ensuring the effective operation of all performances. They will also be required to ensure all rehearsals, concerts and recordings have the full compliment of musicians required by engaging freelance players as and when necessary;

The successful applicant must have:
•Previous experience of working within an orchestra management role;
•Previous experience of fixing;
•Previous experience of dealing with musicians and artists;
•Willingness to work unsociable hours including weekends and evenings.
•Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

The salary for this post is circa £21,000 dependent on experience.
