– £20,400 – £34,383 pa, pro rata
– Part-time, 22.2 hours per week
– Fixed-term to 31 July 2014 (Maternity Cover)
– Based: Amersham campus

We are a leading provider of vocational courses and training in Buckinghamshire. As a progressive and ambitious FE college we strive to provide an excellent learning experience at the forefront of learning technology, continuously developing and improving to offer the best and exceed expectations.

We are looking for a Dance Lecturer with an appropriate Degree and/or vocational qualification or equivalent, to provide teaching, learning and assessment for students on specialist styles including Jazz, Commercial, Tap, Street/Urban Dance and Movement Skills (including LABAN), as well as Choreography, ensuring effective tracking and monitoring of progress.  This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

In a stimulating and supportive environment, you will use your practical knowledge and experience within the dance industry to motivate learners and ensure their progression towards successful completion of the course. Good organisational skills will also be required to plan and prepare lessons and provide regular assessment and reports of student progress.

A level 2 qualification (GCSE grade A-C or equivalent, or willingness to work towards) in English and Maths is also essential for this role.
