Our directory focuses solely on showcasing the talents of entertainers and creative professionals through our interactive profiles. Our team has a vast experience within the entertainment and business industries, along with a passion for music and the performing arts. Meet the team

Georgina: Is an events coordinator and has worked in the event and music industry for the past 10 years. She holds a 1st B.S.c (hons) business degree in Music and New Media Management from Salford University, along with a Diploma in Music Technology and an N.C in Singing. Georgina kicked off her career working with various Manchester record labels. She has worked within one of the largest  care companies in the UK, organising events and working closely with entertainers. Georgina is part of the management & fundraising team for the annual Future Perfect Festival in Manchester in aid of the Christies Cancer Charity.

Andrew,(A.K.A - DJ SAPPO): A globally successful Drum & Bass DJ, producer and owner of Advisory records. Over recent years as an artist SAPPO has sold over 250,000 records, both through his own labels Advisory and Prohibition, and on majors such as World Dance, Frontline, Intalex Formation, Flex and many more. DJ SAPPO also hosted his own weekly Drum & Bass show with BBC radio 1xtra for 4 years which was known as the only 4hr NATIONAL Drum & Bass show. Click here to visit DJ Sappo's website

Martin: An accomplished business man and director of several companies. Martin has 30+ years experience in Management, accounts and administration. With his contacts in the insurance industry he has links to various events and liability insurers. He has a passion for classical music and plays the guitar and piano.

The idea

Georgina, co-founder of ShowSpace says: “The idea for ShowSpace popped into my head during my work as an events coordinator for a care company. I would plan events and fundraisers, booking entertainers to perform on a regular basis. I was working with some very poorly people who didn’t have the luxury of being able to go out to the local theatre or music venue. I had to bring the entertainment to them!

I always strived to provide a range of entertainment, anything from dancing troupes to petting zoo's but finding performers was a difficult task. I’d often spend hours on the internet trying to find new acts that were both local and within my budget. It was hard to know the standard of the entertainer I was booking.

The majority of my entertainers were amazingly talented; however it took me a great deal of time to find them! I needed a fast way of searching for an entertainer based on category, location and price. I wanted to be able to see an entertainers act before I decided to book them, through video, a sound clip or a photograph."

And so ShowSpace was born!
